We sat there, chewing, people passing by speaking all kinds of languages, and yet our table was unusually quiet.

As they stepped through the door, Mom was already pulling off her pristine gloves and unpinning the prim hat from her pin curled tresses.

The god of the sea was actually pouting.

I had barely been back in Glisten five minutes.

There are three Colchesters unaccounted for—Sara, Michael, and Timothy.  

Jackie sat back in the comfort of the rich leather seats of her father’s BMW.
