“I don’t think we need a fire…we’ll heat it up just fine ourselves.”

“I know she wants me dead. She needs to realize who you belong to. You are mine, not hers.”

It was the hardest thing Shyla had ever done –putting Harley’s best interest before her own wants and desires.
We left the radio on in the living room.

If those tire tracks belonged to the Madre Diablo gang, angry bulls could easily be the least of his problems.

"Why you would be willing to die without kissing me, I don’t know.”

He had hardly known Marilyn for more than a week.

“And where do I draw the line?” I asked, turning my head to look right into his stunning grey eyes.
Here are the sentences: Emma tightened her hold on Gideon’s hand as she curled closer. Katarina met Gideon’s glare. “Gideon.”
"You'd look incredible in body paint."
And who would’ve thought a vampire would be someone who liked the early part of the day?
"No good would come from hooking up with a heathen.”
Helen, huh? Using Harley. What if he picks her, thinking she’s in love with him?
She never wanted to know what he thought.

Shoving her fist angrily into the bread dough once more, Charley pounded the white ball viciously, as if it were somehow to blame for every bad thing that had happened to her in the last five years.
“C’mon, fess up…after all the complaining you’ve done about how closed off I’ve been…”

It was an unknown and possibly dangerous creature.

Another moment of silence. This one was longer, though, and he wondered if he’d pushed it too far.
“Are you blackmailing me?”

Jean Joachim (Sports Romance)
She sighed as she slipped the key card into the lock.  It had been a hard day.

One of the concerns showed up at the bungalow late Friday afternoon.

“They’ll think I changed my mind and give the job to someone else.”

“With him you might get more than you bargained for. I don’t know it’s just a gut feeling.” Nate hopped down off the counter and grabbed a towel out of the linen closet.

“Maybe big, bad developers aren’t always what they seem.”

"Even though her mother chose to name her Meara. I chose the name of Mary to inspire the child who came from a sinful union."

Better an outcast than to live with a target on your back.

“You were blessed to have so many people who cared about you.”

Sitting next to her on the plane, he was drawn to her, again, like metal to a magnet.
