JEAN JOACHIM (Sports Romance)
“Twenty grand?”
“It’s your money, Buddy. You’ve it.”

V. L. LOCEY (Multicultural Romance)
“Here I thought you were tidying up the erotica section, not taking notes.”

MORGAN K. WYATT (Contemporary Romance)
"The only reason a man pretends to be your friend is to start a romantic relationship. I can see their reasoning.”

IRIS BLOBEL (Contemporary Romance)
With friends like Emily, who still remembered his kiss, or Ethan, who apparently looked forward to seeing him again after all these years.

JILLIAN CHANTAL (Contemporary)
“May I have five minutes of your time?”

ELIZABETH BLACK (Sweet Romance)

We sat down with the children at a small, rickety table for Thanksgiving dinner.
"Mom, I'm 29. Why do I still have to sit at the kid's table?”

TRISHA FAYE (Non-fiction/Inspirational)
The problem lies, not in in technology or advances and changes in our world, but in always striving for something else – be it newer, bigger, fancier, or just plain different.

TRICIA ANDERSEN (Steampunk Romance)
“I am.  These men killed Sophia, my wife.  My sweet, I love you more than I ever did her and she possessed my heart.  If they took your life it would end mine.  Do you understand?”

FLOSSIE BENTON ROGERS (Vintage Romance)
“Mama, will Daddy still know me?”

TUESDAY TALES - 8 WRITERS WRITING TO THE PROMPT STARK

JEAN JOACHIM (Sports Romance)
In college, he’d sneak out to a local pond at six, shed his clothes and quietly lower himself, naked, into the cool water.

V. L. LOCEY (Multicultural Romance)
Jonah nodded, walked inside, and closed the door with my back.

IRIS BLOBEL (Contemporary Romance)

“Mate, Ethan here.”
Ahh, the infamous best friend.

TRISHA FAYE (Non-fiction/Inspirational)
The nebulous advice of ‘Take Action’, or as Nike’s infamous advertisement proclaims ‘Just Do It’, often is harder to put into action than the instruction implies.

JILLIAN CHANTAL (Contemporary)
As she removed her coat, someone tapped her on the shoulder.

TRICIA ANDERSEN (Steampunk Romance)
Gideon couldn’t help but notice the stark change in Edgar’s demeanor.  The man who was once jovial was now just as serious as he.
“What is it, Gideon?” Edgar questioned.

FLOSSIE BENTON ROGERS (Paranormal Romance)
Her pulse accelerated as the man stepped in front of her, blocking her way up the stairs.

DAVEE JONES (Adult Romance)
A Game of Inches
“She is a stark reminder of what my life could have been.”

V.L. Locey (Multicultural Romance)

“You could come in and see the place,” I mumbled, wondering where the vodka-fueled cougar had fled.

Tricia Anderson (Sports Romance)

The lake lent the perfect background to the scene.  Someday, he would live somewhere like this with his wife and children when he was done with his MMA career.

Elizabeth Black (Sweet Romance)

Doing nothing was a lot easier than you'd think. After going for a swim in the lake, Eric and I sat in the living room in front of a roaring fire, enjoying each other's company.

Jean Joachim (Contemporary Romance)

"Are you sure you want to do this? You don't have to. You'll still be my girl."

Trisha Faye (Non Fiction/Inspirational)

Nature is more than wilderness, mountains, prairies and plains.

Iris Blobel (Sports Romance)

Yes, Ethan had to do the quick growing up when Skye fell pregnant at nineteen and had left him only a few months after Nicholas had been born.

Davee Jones (Contemporary Adult Romance)
“I love living here. I had to move far enough away the memories of you couldn’t haunt me.”

Flossie Benton Rogers (Paranormal Romance)

“For pity’s sake, step on it,” Ivy grumbled.

Morgan Wyatt (Contemporary Romance)
Her discomfort caused Will’s lips to tilt upward. “Did we sleep together?”

I love Sex on the Stages. They`re so delicious and fruity that you hardly taste the vodka in them, but it`s in there, trust me.

And without even thinking twice about it, she stood on her toes and placed a kiss on his cheek. “Give me a call when you need to talk.”

I also unequivocally thought I was going to live to the age of 85. I was wrong.

It reminded her more of an ancestral home than a commonal-garden B&B. Pity it was fully booked.
The charm of the place called to her.

Taking advantage of Will’s concentration on his hosts, she ogled him thoroughly. Definitely, no gargoyle, no extra ears or fingers, and charming, somewhat.

“Time to get up.”
She rolled over, waving Shady away. “Not yet.”

Snow fell in big flakes, covering the ground fast.

Tricia Anderson (SteampunkRomance)
“A gentleman never shares who he has spent his night with. However, I can tell you she’ll be furious if she knows I’m here so we need to make this quick. I need a favor of you.”

“Shale, what did the spirit show you?”

Elizabeth Black (Sweet Romance)
Eric got another bizarre idea in his head. He took me to a museum to see the stinkiest flower on earth.
