Jean Joachim (Contemporary romance)
"The Marriage List"
Envy burned in Grey Andrews’ chest as he walked through the door at Blondie’s the sports bar on West 79th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Stefan Ellery (YA Sci Fi)
Paul looked up at the stars from the enclosed veranda, each twinkling
light filling his soul with dreams.  He belonged up there with the
stars, they called to him and he wanted to answer back.  If only he
could travel in the vast expanse of space and reach another star.

Lisa Beth Darling (Contemporary Romance/Suspense)
Late morning rolled around as the lovers lay sleeping in each others' arms slowly coming back to life after a night of passion.  "G'morning," Kevin whispered as Helen's eyes fluttered open. "Sleep well?"  She must have because she hadn't moved out of the crook of his arm all night and his shoulder was dead asleep.

Karen Cino (Contemporary romance)
“I can dance like this all night long,” Alexandra whispered, her cheek resting against his.  “I can’t believe that it’s already after nine.  The night just flew by.”

Lee Ann Sontheimer Murphy (Romance)
"Midnight Jambalaya"
Lauren glanced out the window with a wistful longing to be outside on the beautiful, near perfect autumn afternoon.  If she hadn’t, she would never have seen him as he strolled across from the parking lot, lithe and prowling like a panther.  Whoever he might be, he caught her eye and held it.  A tall, lean and all masculine body topped with midnight black hair wasn’t something Lauren would miss.
Lindsay Downs  (Suspense)
Head bent over the endless pile of paperwork and reports Deborah, Debbie to her friends, Dahill tilted her head toward the digital clock set on the back right corner of her desk.
Time.

Ana Hart (Contemporary Romance)
It was nothing more than an old shoebox that had been gathering dust in the attic for so many years, put there simply to be forgotten.  But to Margaret, it meant so much more. Her hands trembled as she pushed open the lid and looked in at the contents of the box for the first time in over a decade.

J. F. Jenkins  (Contemporary)
Would it be bad to say I fell in love after one date? Because I think I am. I can’t help it though. Everything I feel for this girl is incredible. I know it’s love because with her I don’t feel bored, restless, and ready to bang her brains out.

Kathleen Tighe Ball (Contemporary Cowboy)
"Summer's Desire" Part 10
Untying the bra, Stone felt at a loss. He couldn’t even begin to come up with an explanation. He was the one with her bra. She’d never believe the truth.

Siobhan Kincade (Paranormal romance)
“You know very little about my past,” she said. No, he realized, he did not know much about her, and from the look on her face, whatever she had to tell him was not going to be pretty.

Casea Major (Mystery/Suspense - rated R)
His cool silky fingers slid behind her back and with one flick released the hooks on her bra. Deb gasped. It was the sexiest thing she’d ever experienced. The moment couldn’t have been choreographed more deftly by Ang Lee.
As his palm stroked her exposed nipple –
A blood curdling scream rang out and echoed from down the hall.

Linna Drehmel (Sci Fi)
Zanula at 16 is the vision of a flawless princess for her people. She has the right shade of ebony skin with just a slight hint of blue, prefect long dark blue hair, but her eyes. This is where her perfection ended.
