TUESDAY TALES :FROM THE WORD WORN

Happy Tuesday! With tomorrow being the Fourth of July, Happy Independence Day to all of our American friends.  I hope the weather cooperates, and you can fully enjoy the day.

Welcome to Tuesday Tales, the weekly blog post where books are born. A select group of authors share their works in progress with you based on a picture or word prompt. This week, we're all including the word WORN in our scenes. Enjoy!

JEAN JOACHIM (Small Town Romance)
Jess Lennox tied the apron around her waist. The bottom edge was a little frayed and the pink had faded to a dusty mauve color.

V.L. LOCEY (MM Hockey Romance)
I opted to go without socks that day.

TRISHA FAYE (Historical Fiction)
“I’m so sorry dear. My mind simply wandered and I don’t know quite where I went for a moment.”

JILLIAN CHANTAL (Contemporary Romance)
“D-d-d-divorced?”

SUSANNE MATTHEWS (Historical Romance)
“This colony needs good men like you.”
