Tuesday Tales - Where #Authors #Write to a #Prompt: CUP

From all of the Tuesday Tales authors our condolences to all those who have lost a loved over the last few days during the violence in France and Beirut.
Our heart goes out to you all.

When something so severe happens in the world, a wave of shock and disbelief comes over us and numbs us. There's never a right or wrong in how and when we go on with our daily life,
so today's posts are written respectfully with those who passed in our minds.

Click on the writer's name to go to their blog and read their story.
Don't forget to come back and enjoy all the stories here.

Iris Blobel (Contemporary Romance)

“She’s been up and at it for twelve hours. I don’t know how much more she can take.”
It always sat empty and neglected, looking forlorn as if no one loved it anymore.

“My name’s not Missy,” she called out.

"I had nightmares about snipers and roadside bombs, but in the end he died here, because of me.”

.
Being borne among the fairest maidens in the land, she’d been hand-picked to avoid the drudgery of life in the kitchens with her mother, or in the laundry with her aunt. Instead, she was among the princesses most favored handmaidens.

How was she ever going to choke these down?

Flossie Benton Rogers (Paranormal Romance)
Hannah trudged up the steep stairwell toward the hotel's exterior landing.
